I think you had something to do with those Bongo Bongo guys getting so famous. I first learned of their blog on YOUR website. So I think they owe you!!

See you in 10 days ~Bug
They fed us free Villa Vittles and Susie Christy's Rum Cake, so I think we're all evened up now.

See you in 10 days!

Mia - No never seen Mary with him. He lives right in old town and after runs with his dog. I also saw him out with their daughters once. He's quite the character. There's is surely an interesting household!

How about people who go to the island strictly to see a celeb.....A couple years back my husband and I left the beach and headed for Woody's for an early lunch. We were the only two there besides the staff. We were having our lunch when this woman runs inside, camera ready & flashing, and starts screaming (really screaming too) that this is the place Kenny Chesney hangs out. We all looked at each other like, what the heck? So one of the girls working(Jordan) desides to go along with her and tells her that the bar stool that my husband is sitting on is Kenny's favorite. Needless to say, the woman starts snapping pics of this bar stool with my husbands butt on it. Jordan then tells this woman that the cook is on of Kenny's best buds on the island. She immediatly runs through the swinging doors. Now this whole thing was so loud that the kid cooking knew exactly what was going on so he backs her out of the kitchen and promptly poses for some pics with her. By this time we were all laughing so hard that we were crying. Finally, she tells us she gotta get back over to STT to catch her boat and runs right out of the place. We thought she was gone and were still laughing hysterically when out of no where, she runs though the door, reachs to the left, grabs a menu off the wall and runs back out like a theif in the night. We were dumbfounded! I think that poor Jordan might have peed her pants laughing so hard.

Needless to say, every year when my husband and I return to Woody's, Jordan always says - Hey I remember you guys, you were here when the crazy lady stole our menu. It was unforgetable!

I hate to think what would have happened if Kenny Chesney would have been there.

I'd take the Bongo Bongo Boys & Anthony over a snooty celeb anyday!

Ugh, I think this woman may have been on the ship with my mother and I when I took her on her birthday cruise. At dinner the night before we were to be on STT, this woman would not quiet down about how she was "going to see Kenny on St. John tomorrow." She just "knew it."

Keep in mind it was also Summer, i.e. concert season. I didn't want to crush her dream by telling her he was probably on a bus somewhere but by the end of her spaz out, I was a little tempted.

I just want to say that we who live in Los Angeles and involved in the local business community, love these folks. Nothing like watching folks walk up and down Hollywood Blvd, looking and finding their favorite stars on the blvd.

Now be honest, how many of you who have visited have done that.

WELCOME

When I went to STJ in 2005 I didn't even know that celebrities went there. I could have seen one and not known it. They ARE just regular people.

They're going to end up a pile of ashes just like the rest of us. (Not trying to be a downer here. Just stating the facts) I think the best part comes after that, and it doesn't matter WHO you were here.

Crap! - I'm tired of all these celebrities stalking me.

I thought I could sneak off to STJ to get away, but if what all of you are saying is true, they have a presence there, too!

I don't think i would recognize them if i saw them for the most part! I did see Dudly Moore at LAX once. He was really short even in major platform shoes! Sorry Nothintolose! I know he was a favorite of yours back then!
