Carib Withdrawals

Post by Steve S »

The local distributor in upstate NY doesn't carry Carib anymore. Has anyone seen it for sale within 100 miles of Albany?

You know, not many places carried Carib in Coral Bay this time around and we got a six pack from either Lily's, or Love City, and it was skunked. It was a let down. I ended up drinking Budweiser in the bars [as it was the cheapest], which I rarely do here, and came home and had gray primer spots on my cars, a gun rack in my pickup, and a hillbilly zip code!

Carib is the island beer we enjoy when down in the USVI and in April, we found it at Peace Pine, Dolphin and Starfish Gourmet...Oh yeah and at KMart on STT! It was just as good as always... :D Sadly, I've never seen it in New England.
Hoping for a USVI ticker in 2013!

I started my addiction to Caribs on St Barts. What a surprise to find that I might find some in STJ/STT. Where is the KMart on STT and do they have groceries so I can make it a one stop on the way to the ferry? TIA
