Post by CariBert »

Today was an interseting day, we went to St. Thomas for the day, don't ask why because itnhad to do with work (ugh) Dirty word on vacation. But we did do some shopping and had a great lunc at Gladys's. They make the best fresh fruit colodas in town. We enjoyed a few Mango Coolodas:

After we came back to St. John, we went on a sunset sail on the Spree with Capt. Bob:

We followed the sunset sail with dinner at Cafe Roma. We enjoyed the Seatini as described on "On St. John"

And it was just as good as it looks. Of to bed, tomorrow more adventures from Caribert's Posse in Paradise!

I come by every night hoping Bert has posted his daily report. Looks like you kids are having a blast! But really...work on vacation? I used to do that, but now I don't even check email on vacation.

Keep em coming, and thanks!

Hey Bert and Better Half! You guys really have your days filled with fun. Even the work took you over the water, always a good thing, and an opportunity for some yummy drinks! Noticed you have a STJ hook bracelet,Bert. So do I! And I never take it off. Anyone else out there own one?

I love Gladys's and that pretty lady who walks around singing like Billie Holiday.
Hope you were able to put work back in the box.

Thanks guys. Work IS in the box. Now on to the VACAY! And we were taken care of very well by Pauline, and she does sound just like Holliday when she sings. In fact we did a duet - of sorts.

well, it's off on another adventure, some beach, somewhere, don't know where, but I will have my toes in the water, ass in the sand, not a care in the world and a cold beer in my hand....life is good today....(that was for you jorge, I just know yoou like Zac Brown!)

Yes, Nancie, I do not take my Hook Bracelet off, except to go snorkeling. I'm working on getting another one now...a Petroglif(sp) hook.

Later,

-Bert
