Balcony / Restaurant to watch 4th July Parade (on 5th)?

Does anyone know if any of the restaurants with balcony's along the July 4th parade route are taking reservations for hanging out and watching the parade? I think last year Paradiso did this but not sure if any restaurants are letting the tourists reserve space this year. Only comments I have seen were about local private parties for the 4th. Any suggestions for the best place to go to watch, party and pig out?
