I donated, and I think it got credited to the right place. I sent him an e-mail to be sure, because I just clicked without reading!

Thanks for setting this up. I think it is a fitting tribute to Mr. B, and I hope we raise a lot of money.

Very nice tribute to Mr.B. All of us should be as fortunate to have friends like Mr.B's who set this up. You guys are great.

Done! So easy! I entered the VIOL info in the "review" page- last page before "pay now" when doing a cc pmt. Thanks to everyone involved for making this happen. I never got to share a beer with MrB, but will toast him and the ACC when down there in August.

Don't get discouraged if you don't see the ACC web page updated right away with your name on it. Apparently we are giving the webdude alot more work to do! What a nice problem to have. So just hang on and he will get everything updated hopefully once a day. Today was a banner day. I know we are way over $1,000 now. Thanks so much for showing everybody that you care! Amy, tell Mr B.

Everybody....

I'm always on this forum and I have donated to ACC Charity in John's name.

I just showed my husband the picture of John and Amy on the website and his first words were "Oh my god, I remember him, I really liked him, he was so nice".

See...we went to Honeymoon Beach a couple years ago. We were staying in STT and we didn't know anyone. Kept in touch with a few people via PM's and email and realized there was a gathering.

We took the ferry over from STT and stupid us, we thought we could walk to Honeymoon. Long story short. We met alot of great people on that day including John who was so engaging, so sweet, like we were friends for quite awhile.

Anyway, just wanted to give that short story to you. It's such a small world when you go to STT or STJ and I'm glad we've met so many people.....including John.

Perfect! Thank you Ruth for being our go-to person on STJ and for putting this into action so quickly.

The tribute page is beautiful.

I just talked to Amy tonight and her head is in a good place. I won't lie to you. I have been worried. So yall can be proud of helping. I don't care if you give money or not, you help just by being on the forum and saying stuff. It has been good stuff. Thanks for your support. Group hug!

Question about voting for the ACC St. John shelter.

When I click on the link "vote for our shelter", I typed in the criteria: "Animal Care Centre St. John", leave it on default "United States", but what do I put for a State? It can't find any shelter with my criteria.

It would be awesome to see St. Johh's animal shelter win the grand prize (or any prize). What a legacy on behalf of Mr. B.

Thanks.

Brenda, you can enter animal care center of st. john, and then select VI, and then select search. I just did it and it works. Try again.

Then look at the ratings! ACC is listed under International, as #6. So John Friends, your next assignment is to select our ACC of St. John in hopes they might win even MORE money! You can vote every day, hint hint.
