What a small world it truly is.....
I work on the "square" in the downtown area where we live. One day last week I had 2 customers come in. One was the Sheriff of our county along with the DA. The Sheriff looked at my arm and asked me if I got my bracelet in the Islands. (I was wearing my hook bracelet). I said..yes I did...he said...Do you know what it means...I said...yes I do...He then began to tell me how his daughter and son-in-law spent their honeymoon there and how he had visited STJ as well. I said we are going back there in a cpl of weeks and so on then the DA looked at me and said...We spent our Honeymoon on StJ...small world !!!

I can totally relate--this recent trip we were waiting for bags and such at the airport in STT and a young man about 30-35 comes walking out with a Mamaroneck Tigers t shirt on--Mamaroneck is the town we live in and the Tigers are the High School teams--I said--Hey! Mamaroneck! he says yeah, i say what sport? he turns around and it's the championship hockey team from (insert the year that i am forgetting) with all the players names on it and it has my sons current hockey coach's name on it as well --
< leaving on the 22nd of march...but too lame to figure out the ticker thing again!>

Yesterday I met a lady while I was grocery shopping. She had on a Peppermint Bay dress similar to the one I had on. I just had to ask her where she got hers. Same place I got mine - St. John. She also had a hook bracelet on and so did I. Cannot find these dresses anywhere around here. I told her I was going down in August and she asked me to pick up a couple more for her.
Found out online that the real Peppermint Bay is in Tasmania. Small world, my son-in-law is from Australia.
