Who does cross-stitch?
Who does cross-stitch?
I need to barter services for a snarky cross stitch. Anyone interested?
Our new basement bathroom is at ground level (no digging done for the plumbing). So, everything from the sink, shower, and, importantly, toilet, feeds into a grinder pump that sits behind the wall. You can NOT feed it certain things. Well, someone fed it this past weekend and the house started shaking, the thing was bucking around so much.
I'd like a lovely little...what do they call them??? sampler??? made up to say something about what you can and can not flush. Think of a sign in an airplane bathroom.
In return...well...I have just about nothing to offer. I'll send you one of my kids for a week...or mail you some NC bbq sauce.

I am probably the only woman in Central PA who doesn't cross stitch but I could send you any of the 20+ we received for wedding and new baby gifts. Just sharpie a message on the glass....
Our cabin neighbors are building a new place that will require a grinding pump for the entire house. I fear for them....
Growing up in an old house with a touchy septic system, I knew to never ever put anything in toilet that didn't naturely belong there. My city-folk friends seem to think a toilet is one step from a garage disposal.
Good luck with your stitch-witchery!

Pip- don't be fooled. Flop FLop has never cross stitched in her entire life. In fact I've never even heard her mention doing a craft (other than shopping) in the entire .. oh how long has it been? 14 years ....that I've known her.
I on the other hand have several incomplete cross stitching projects from the mid 90's.. one of which is the Serenity Prayer.... you know:
"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference."
MAybe you could add: "anyone flushing anything that isn't processed by your own body gets the bill from the plumber"
would that work?? Seems like it might apply
Free to a good home!
