Shop at Cost-U-Less or in STJ?

Post by gores95 »

Hello all. We will be renting a Jeep with Dependable on STT and then driving to the Red Hook car ferry. On the way to the ferry we were going to stop at Cost-U-Less in STT to stock up our Westin STJ Villa.

I read a post that someone recommended just shopping in STJ rather than in STT. Is this the general consensus? Certainly price/variety/convenience is a factor but if its only a little bit more in STJ that would probably be worth skipping Cost-U-Less.

Thanks!
Marc

This conversation often takes place when forumites weigh up the difference between renting their Jeep on STT vs STJ. My personal opinion is that when I rent the Jeep on STT I try to swing by Cost-U-Less. If I rent on STJ, then (I guess this part is obvious) I shop on STJ.

So, as long as you have the Jeep, and if you also have the time, I'd be inclined go to Cost-U-Less.

Thanks, Love VT (we love skiing in VT as well!). Our flight lands at 1:00 so yes we have plenty of time. We had always planned on stopping at Cost-U-Less so that is fine.
