aerobed question

Post by djmom »

I am just wondering if this idea is crazy or smart. We are going to Hawaii and have a room with two double beds. To improve domestic tranquility we looked into a rollaway bed which is EIGHTY dollars a night! NO WAY are we doing that.

So we are thinking about just packing our Aerobed in a duffel bag, along with a set of sheets. Even if it costs $15-25, we're still coming out ahead.

Smart or crazy?

mbw, thought about that, just hate to spend vacay time looking for it.

But the part I wonder about crazy, is to lug this freakin thing halfway across the world.

The hotel doesn't leave us much choice. I understand that a rollaway might imply an additional person in the room, but in our case it is still just four of us.

I don't get it actually, that is ridiculous and it kind of makes me mad. We are willing to pay for one, but I think $80 per night is excessive. Hell, we could buy an actual rollaway probably for $150...

That would be funny. To have an actual BED delivered to the hotel room. Like the Rooms to Go truck pulling up...

Update...just googled aerobeds...they are not as expensive as they used to be. Think we will buy one there!
