Baby gate

We have an interior staircase in our villa this summer, and a busy 18 month old so I would like to rent a gate. Has anyone done this? Ideas? Thanks!

I think Christy's does this-- and there's also a new biz called Island baby (I Think?)

I have heard of folks doing this before but you may want to ask the villa co, if a baby gate will work where you will want to put it. Sometimes design features of the home make this difficult.
