Waterproof ipod speaker
Waterproof ipod speaker
My DH wants to bring along his tunes to the beach during our trip. Anyone have any experience with the ipod waterproof speakers? Are they beach worthy?
They're a bit girlie but my good pal VickiH rocked these on our sailing trip last December. Not sure about waterproof but they were great: http://www.theistore.com/roxy-i-p23-por ... e=googleps
I have these little baby speakers that I bring everywhere and they do just great even at the beach: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001JH ... 73SAPH9P28
They've got awesome sound and fit in the palm of your hand.

Brand...iHome from best buy. Battery powered and made for the beach. I used it for a week at the beaches and never had any issues.
If the people that plop their stuff down right next to ours is using these they had better hope that I like what they're listening to.
Or we might see just how waterproof they really are...
Seriously, I can see using these by the pool, or even on a mostly empty beach, but can you imagine the cacophony if a Trunk Bay full of beach goers all had their own speakers?

Come see us!
Augie-- I was thinking the same thing.
Note to new folks. Generally the beaches are very quiet. Any music should be kept to a minimum.
I generally use my speakers at the house and my earphones on the beach. If I have used the speakers on the beach the sound was kept very low.
I generally like to hear the sounds of the birds chirping, the water lapping up on shore and the giant trucks rolling and blowing their horns along the Northshore road as my background music!
