Cruzan Rum
Yep, Zaya and Zacapa are made by the same company, Zaya is 15 year and Zacapa 23 year.....have never had the Zaya, but I'm told its awesome....Tess' Dad wrote:I just checked my rum cabinet and I have a few to add to the list. The Zacapa 23 isn't really a 23 year old rum. The "Solera" method they use is alot like cheating. They take some old rum and mix it with new rum and rack it. After some aging they take some out and mix it with new rum and rack it again. The process is repeated until some of the original rum is 23 years old. The rum is excellent. But a bit misleading.
