Holy Crap
I'm not much of a hockey fan, but my son and I did watch that game last night. I'm a sports fan, so any Game 7 holds some importance.
That said, watching that game last night made me fully appreciate how Yankee fans must have felt back in 2004. With the exception that, the Yankees utter choke job made history in their sport (being the first to ever choke up a 3-0 series lead), whereas, this has actually happened in hockey before, albeit not in a long time.
GO CELTICS!!!!
(And congrats, Jim!)

Connie, i never said i was a NY fan. I am originally from Boston i am a bruins fan I wanted to be cheevers when i grew up...--and though my son might be rangers fan (he was actually rooting for the pens though recently ). --- the flyers will get creamed --they have no business being there. you can on that! though stranger things have happened in post season hockey... me i am thinking flyers are done.. could be wrong. hope not.Connie wrote:loria wrote:hardly.....they'll go down a flaming flyers trainwreck........Connie wrote:I was at a wedding last night, but they announced they won. I think there were more OMG's then I had ever heard before.
Is it destiny?
Loria...I don't see a NY team winning like the flyers
< leaving on the 22nd of march...but too lame to figure out the ticker thing again!>
Holy Moly.
They did it.
That's all I'm saying.
I was born in Fox Chase...
I was 5 years old when they won in '74. I remember being in the back seat of my parents Cadillac El Dorado, and my mom telling me to stop looking at the people streaking.
I watched Brad Lidge throw "Strike Three",(with the background "Play By Play" announced by Harry The K.) when the Phils' won in 2008, from the couch of Island Horizons Villa.
I sat there and cried on the couch overlooking Coral Bay, alone.
These boys aren't done ...
I'm happily in shock.
As good as it can be- Smiles-

Holy Crap.
We're going to the Stanley Cup Finals.
Not trying to "rub it in" to fans of different hockey teams.
Wow.
I can't believe this.
I'm sure I'll get a bunch of feedback from folks who are pulling for the Black Hawks, but I'm as emotionally exhausted as I am confident with my Flyers team.
Hopeful, with
