To continue a conversation about being obsessed with booze! Question - I know there used to be a liquor store on St. John. But I can't remember the name of even if its still there! Any help would be great!

Mixology but it is no longer there but the good news is you can buy at Starfish Gourmet (nice large selection) Pine Peace, Dolphin, Lily's, Love City and many other smaller locations

Mixology prices when I checked were no big deal... their differentiator was that they would box up and deliver your order to be ready when you got to your villa. (several regulars on the forum here placed quite a premium on that )

Pia - being VERY lazy, and wanting to slip into island mode as soon as I get off the ferry.....I was hoping to maybe fax them an order and have it ready for us!! Wow - could I be any more needy!!!

But we LOVE all those markets and will visit them OFTEN! Thanks!

Note that prices can vary WIDELY depending on the liquor so it pays to shop around a bit.

I've found that Pine Peace is consistently cheaper overall, but there are exceptions!

I have noticed that aa couple of the newer "convenience markets" (there's one by the Catholic church and one by the Fish Trap that I can think of) in Cruz Bay tend to have much HIGHER prices than the grocery stores so just make sure you check the price before you buy.
