Boat rental for a large group???

Post by juliebud »

Ok, I know this has been asked before so I'm sorry if this is a repeat, but I couldn't find any of the old posts!
I'm wondering if there are any options for a boat rental for 9 adults and 2 kids, other than renting 2 boats? We would definitely want a captain and plan on just going around St.John and over to Jost. Any ideas would be great, thanks!

I can very highly recommend Captain Kevin and Born to Rhumb. (borntorhumb.com). Kevin is a fabulous guide, the boat is very comfortable (can take up to 12), the bench seat is full of beer! (and soda and water) and Kevin makes great painkillers too! You will have a fabulous day with him.

I agree - Born to Rhumb would be great as would Pirates Penny/Stormy Petrel :)

is one I recommend looking at, Capt. Frank does an excellent job and has for a long time.

Although I haven't been on Born to Rhumb, they were pretty much right with us the whole day during our charter day in late April. We took Palm Tree (small group).

Anywho, Kevin's group looked like they were having a TON of fun. Plus, if you end up at the Soggy Dollar, he's an absolute ACE at the ring game!!!

We had 8 adults and our 4 yo on Motor Yacht Cinnamon Bay in March. We absolutely loved it. An excellent boat for kids.
