Some Old Pictures from past STJ trips

Post by flip-flop »

I am totally going NUTS with Flickr now ... uploading and reorganizing pictures. I thought I'd share my stuff from two different trips - one in '03 and one in '05 - both in MAY! How sad am I that I am not preparing to go next month? Pretty sad. But I know I have Thanksgiving in the islands to look forward to.

Most of the pictures are more of people than the gorgeous scenery some of you capture. I am NO photog!

I hope you guys enjoy.

Fun pictures! I particularly like the one of you and Mini Flip-Flop in the water at East End staring out at the horizon. :D

It's so great to see the faces that I read about. Thanks for the post. I'm up this late waiting for Little Cypressgirl to get home. See what you have to look forward to?

Great shots – brings back ole memories. There is no other magical place for paths to cross – then on St. John.

My son (21) got home at 1:00 am. Can't sleep well until he is home.

Thanks for the kind comments. I will say I don't look forward to the teen years!

We stayed at Ambiance (Choc. Hole Hillside) - the ones at the top w/ the kiddo - and at Cocolobo (Reef Bay) the one in the later pictures.

Flip-flop,

That pic of Mini Flip-flop in the front of the dighny has ALWAYS been one of my favorite of people's STJ pics. I LOVE that pic. To see her smiling and so happy...that's what it's all about.

Cool pics flip flop. Thanks for sharing them with us. The one of your daughter in the car asleep looks like me on the way back to the villa after a long day over in the BVI's!!!

Often I wish I was still a kid and could just pass out when the spirit hit me! Being a grown up is tough!

The other couple who traveled with us on that trip with their one year old still comments how the mini flip-flop could just drop anywhere...no need for routine/schedule/formality.

She's always been a simple girl. Tired/Sleep. Happy/Smile. Mad/Frown. There is no mystery to her moods!
