Bubbly pool and Foxy's Taboo
We wil be sailing on White Wing and the trip we are taking will take us to Foxy's Taboo. I have been to Great Harbor and White Bay many times so I am curious about this location.

X... If you haven't looked at the pics that we took last week at the Bubbly Pool, they are here.
We had a blast in the waves. The pool is probably 175-100 feet across and 50 - 75 feet from the shore to the rocks. There is a channel in the rocks another 50 feet long and the waves hit the outside of the channel and if they are large enough they will crash ofver the rocks and into the Bubbly pool. Once in a while they are strong enough to knock an adult off your feet, but most of the time they churn the water like a jacuzzi. The water is less than four feet at the deepest spot and the bottom if sand and gravel with a few rocks. You can climb out on the rocks on either side to get better views and to get hit by the waves from different angles.
The walk from Taboo takes about fifteen minutes. Most of it is flat on a gravel road. The last half is up and over a small hill. There is one stretch of about 50 feet that is rocky but there are decent places to put your feet so it wasn't any problem. If you are there at the right time, lunch at Taboo was very good. I really enjoyed the grilled fish sandwich. The fish isn't specified but when I had it it was two nice pieces of mahi mahi and the bun was fresh.
If you have more specific questions, just ask!

I was interested in this as well. It looks like a lot of fun from your pics. So, would this be a separate trip from the typical Foxy's & Soggy Dollar Bar day just hanging in the hammocks, sipping Painkillers and watching the waves roll in or can it all be accomplished in one trip? Ali~
STJ - I "get it"
I guess that depends on how much time to want at Foxy's and Soggy Dollarb-as-u-r wrote:So, would this be a separate trip from the typical Foxy's & Soggy Dollar Bar day just hanging in the hammocks, sipping Painkillers and watching the waves roll in or can it all be accomplished in one trip? Ali~
