Missing St. John?

Post by djmom »

I bet you don't miss it as bad as my younger daughter. She talks about St. John all the time.

The latest is that she misses "everything about St. John. Even Lew Henley and the dumpsters."

I have missed it so bad I cant begin to tell you...I am so looking forward to our next trip...It will be the 1st time we are bringing the kids...and I have driven them crazy talking about it..I think I am worse than they are at Christmas...if thats possible...But then again..on the other hand I dread to see the time get closer...because I know our time there will go by so fast and it will soon be time to come home...so yeah...I miss it...but dread it too...lol

Although he probably would not admit it, I know 90% of the reason our on-again, off-again now on-again July trip is happening is because our son said - "Daddy, I want to go to St. John and go to that beach where we...(insert one of many activities).." and melted Daddy's heart.

You know after reading this post again, too bad old Lew doesn't have a band.

Wouldn't that be an awesome name...."Lew Henley and the Dumpsters".

Get it? 8)
