VRBO junk mail - UGH!
VRBO junk mail - UGH!
Just wanted to share my recent experience with VRBO with others.
I've been on the search for a small place to stay for our December trip and did some looking on VRBO.
I found one place that looked promising and e-mailed the owner to ask a question. Not only have I not heard back from the villa owner, but now I'm getting all this junk promo e-mail from VRBO (which I just unsubscribed to after getting the 5th e-mail in as many days).
Just FYI for folks looking thru VRBO, be aware that you will start getting junk e-mail almost immediately after sending any correspondence.
On the bright side we just got confirmation from Mike & Eileen at Sailview that they have room for us!
SO the search is COMPLETE. Sailview here we come!!

Maybe I missed a box to check off when I entered my contact info when I emailed the owner?
Please be clear I am not dissing the villas or owners necessarily just the VRBO web interface which apparently wants to promote a whole lot of stuff completely unrelated to my initial inquiry.
Today's e-mail from VRBO entitled : "Escape to a Hawaiian Paradise - Traveler Newsletter April 2010" Here's the link: http://clicklink.homeaway.com/C2L/er.as ... YoXcEbWVN3
I guess it would be one thing for thm to send me additional info on STJ, but Hawaii?
