Thought y'all would appreciate this more than most. For financial reasons (darned that kid in college
), I did not get to St. John in April this year, which depressed me to no end.
Upon reflection, and realizing that I am turning 50 this year
, I took the bull by the proverbial horns and just booked my flight for a week in November (my actual birthday month)! Was it the responsible thing to do - heck no! Was it the right thing to do - absolutely!

A vacation on STJ is the perfect gift for any fifty year old. I speak from experience; it's what I did just last month. Go for it!

What a wonderful gift to yourself - I am planning to treat myself that way in a few years...

Great idea! There are a lot of fifty year olds on here. I am fifty also so I think I will go to STJ twice this year.

I'll be fifty in October but am holding out till next May. Taking my then 21 year old daughter with us for her first time on island. She warned me I was not allowed to step foot on the island again without her
She's been wanting to go for so long so we told her next trip. We're going to Spain in two weeks for this years vacation and can't wait till next May!!

I love the name of your tour! You have to have something printed up to wear while on vacay!
You only live once so go for it!
