A few years back while sailing we hiked from the water (Genti Bay?) past the sugar mill ruins to the petroglyphs. They were awesome! I highly recommend. If you can get a boat to take you, the hike from the water isn't bad. And if you get too hot there's a pool near the glyphs you can jump into to cool off. Depending on which direction you hike to the glyphs from, if you've got the time the sugar mill ruins are stunning as well. That and a stone wall along the trail are reminders of the harsh history of the island. Hard labor under a hot sun. After your history lesson at the sugar mill you're right by the beach for another dip in the water to cool off. I've been lurking on the forum for months after joining and this is my first post. The glyphs and the sugar mill ruins are both so cool I had to share my excitement!
