Five Weeks to the Changes in Latitude Tour

Post by jimg20 »

About five weeks from right now we should be stowing our tray tables and being sure that are seat backs are in their upright and most uncomfortable position. :D

Within a couple of more hours we will be standing in St John Car Rental waiting for our keys. 8)

I looked at the calendar and a number of you are going to be there during a part of our stay. Can we count on a big group at the Beach Bar Gathering on May 23 and 30? Are they still having the beach party near Coral Bay on Sundays? Where will that be and when? This will also be our first time in Paradise on a full moon. This will be the trip where Luna Vista really lives up to its name.

We are also looking forward to lots of bottom time with Low Key. Will there be any other divers from the Forum there at that time?

See ya on the roundabout!

I'm pretty sure that the Hansen Beach parties are on hold right now. Hope they start up again!

We're looking forward to meeting Loria and Mr. Loria. We are also going to reconnect with Barb Y.

Thanks b-as-u-r. We needed a good reason to start drinking when we get there.

We will see you at the beach bar on the 23rd. We will be on island from the 15th through the 30th.

I cannot wait! The final weeks of the countdown are always the longest...

I think you could twist our arms! Maybe a lameshur day? or a salt pond day?
SUn, when do you arrive?

How about Little Lameshur or Vie's? My wife's knees make it difficult for her to walk back up that Salt Pond hill.

Any of the above are on our list of things to do...Vies, Lameshur, Salt Pond, etc...

I don't know who is going to be on the island on May 18th, but I KNOW that we will be at the Tourist Trap that afternoon. It has been a year since we have had the pleasure of basking in the 'special ambiance' that is The Tourist Trap and since they are closed Sunday and Monday, we are going to have to wait until Tuesday to visit and have a couple(!) of adult beverages with Larry and the gang.

Sun-They are still closed on Sun/Mon correct?

Can't wait to get to the rock. We are finally counting in DAYS and not MONTHS!

Since we had to cancel our 2 weeks vacation to St John and Virgin Gorda, due to the stupic Icelandic volcano, we are now trying to find a time to reschedule.

The villa owner is so nice and will let us reschedule, and of course we then are limited to the weeks she has available. As it is right now the week around 23-30 May is free, so we might go for that week instead and continue to Virgin Gorda after STJ.

So Jim and Diana, who knows, maybe we can do some bottom time together. And we love to hang out at Lameshur or other beach with fellow forumites as well. We are staying in Coral bay.

This plan is not confirmed yet, but we are working to make it final.

John- Yes Tourist Trap is still closed on Sun-Mon. So we shall gather there on the 18th!

Loria- My dates are 13-28.

Maggy- I hope you can make it!

Any beach is fine with me. For easiest access for folks, I can certainly do Vies...then no one can run out of food or beer! 8)
