OH, why didn't I think of that?  . Too late now. How stupid of me!

After Easter I will see, if I can do some "cropping work" :D As you say - to move is both exciting and stressful, we are going up to the house late afternoon today. We are so excited to see the house after the last things have been done, and the house is cleaned, and it has been so stressful to find out what you are going to bring with you, to buy the different stuff- I have to look at prices and models before I decide- etc..

Hope it will be a good proces for both of us.

Wow, Linne, I looked at this thread a long time ago and then just hadn't gone back till now. (sometimes I skip the long threads since usually they get sidetracked  )

Anyways, I am SO impressed, what a beautiful place!

It was fun seeing it happen all at once! Sometimes it pays off to be slack like me!

And yes, our construction workers around here are not nearly as hot. I'd be remodeling if they were!

Okay, ladies. I have tried to do some ”cropping work”, but I can’t do it better than this:

Sorry that I haven’t more pictures for a calendar :D .

About the house:

It was so nice to see a cleaned house, and we have worked hard the whole Easter to make it ready to live in. Although we don’t have many furniture yet and still are using the old outside table and chairs, the house is beginning to look cosy.

I forgot to take pictures, so you have to wait for that.

Linne - I just showed my husband your new pictures and while he loves the house, he doesn't understand why the forum ladies are so interested with your kitchen guys :)

Linne, it looks beautiful! I bet you can't wait to start moving your stuff in, and making it your home. It's been neat to watch this!

The house is now finished outside. We of course miss a terrace, and we are looking forward to see a green nature around us again. We will still let it be a place with wild flowers, bushes and trees, so it will take some years, before it’s like before.

Here a few pics.

<a href="http://picasaweb.google.dk/lh/photo/lb2 ... site"><img src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_4aSBK_jB-gs/S8dx1 ... 7.JPG"></a>

<a href="http://picasaweb.google.dk/lh/photo/_nH ... site"><img src="http://lh3.ggpht.com/_4aSBK_jB-gs/S8dx4 ... 0.JPG"></a>

In Easter we had a “ceremony” where the removed name from the old house was placed on the new house. So now we are talking about “Old Toppen” and “New Toppen”. “Toppen” means “the top”, and we gave it that name 35 years ago because it’s the highest standing house in the area, and for us it is “the top”.

As I have told we still miss furniture. But we have a few from the old house, so it’s beginning to look a little cosy, I think.

I will take some more pictures when we are finished inside.
