June or October in St. John
June or October in St. John
Looking at temperature charts, it looks like there is very little difference in average temperatures between June (84) and October (83). BUT, does June FEEL hotter? Like in Las Vegas where people say it is 110 but it doesn't FEEL like it because it is a "different kind of heat"? I never understand that
I am thinking the humidity in June in St. John would probably make it feel much hotter. Thoughts?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I have been a couple times in Dec, and once in Oct...I would like to try the 1st week of June this time..
I really think it is hit and miss...it has rained off and on every time we have been, as we expect...but we have had big north swells 2 of the 3 times as well..
So we are hoping June would be better as far as that goes.
When we went in October..we missed Omar by 2 days..we were sweatin' it...but it turned out fine..

If you go in Oct check to make sure everything is open- I know a lot of restaurants close in September. We have been in June and August, and to VIrgin Gorda in Oct- really didn't notice a difference in weather between the two seasons, but we love the low season (summer)- however I think it's just starting to ramp up in Oct. My vote- go both times
