Motor Charter for 13 passengers
BVI inspection on Sadie Sea
Sadie Sea is following all SOLAS regulations and in the process of completing all the new BVI regulations as well. The max number of PAYING guests is 12 not total number of guests.

Alright I was going to stay out of this one but I will put my .02 in. Exit Zero has covered it pretty well. Sadie you are dancing a thin line with the paying versus total number of guest ting. I know you need to make a living but be very carefull. You don't want to defend that line court.Sadie Sea wrote:Sadie Sea is following all SOLAS regulations and in the process of completing all the new BVI regulations as well. As for Ocean Runners "eight passenger" boat. Well not so fast. Legally if you hire a real captain. One with a minimum of a 100 ton masters and an SCTW95 certificate to run the boat for the day it can only legally carry six passengers and the crew. In the past a lot of people have used "guides" as opposed to captains. Again this is a huge gray area. I am not saying that I agree with the law but it is the law. It is actually legal for a private citizen, that is deemed competent by the charter company, like Nauti Nymph, Ocean Runners etc to rent you a bare boat and you can take ten or twelve people on it for the day just don't put a real captain, that is really qualified to run the boat on board because then it will be illegal. This makes perfect sense I know.
