Day 3: Hiking Drunk (the bay), Beachtime and other stuff
Oh, that's right, I am now a Tortolian sister-wife! Thank goodness, there will always be someone to pack the cooler!
Oh, and MB I do think you're right, it was only Brown Bay that day. I think Flip just confused that we passed Drunk Bay on the Ram Head hike that we did ANOTHER morning.
Becky- I have always heard the snorkeling at Brown Bay is good, so you guys would probably love it! The only thing that keeps me from bringing snorkel gear sometime is that there's always the hike out... so I guess bringing a change of clothes or planning dry-off time would remedy that. I am lazy, and hate hiking with swamp butt!

Cool Pia - I meant to guess some kind of shepherd, not collie. Those are nice size dogs - not too big, but no doubt athletic and highly trainable.Pia wrote:jmq, they are pure Miniature Australian Shepherds - Coqui the Black Tri and Tiki the Blue Merle
Pia
What kind of herding behavior do they do - nip, circle or stare?
(sorry Flip no hi-jacking intended - just riffing on the photo I'm glad you included)

Flip - Regarding LMG's sage advice on the firing range at Brown Bay. We were driving towards the East End this afternoon around 2PM when I heard what I was sure was a tire blowing out on the Suzuki... Then I heard about 5 more... Only after I realized that I don't have 6 tires on the car did I take note that we had just passed the Brown Bay trail, and the firing range. I had a good laugh...

Love this report Flip....I always eat the treats at Deli Grotto. Sheffy's grandma gave him those receipes and they probably do have something in them...
Yeah, generally I'm good for one a day. They are really tough to stop eating!liamsaunt wrote:You know, I have never been to Brown Bay. I think we'll have to go this time.
And I did not know about the existence of chocolate-coconut-crack bars at the Deli Grotto either. I think I need one. Or two.
Nice trip report Flip, thanks for sharing.
