The weather has been better, so we tried again to have the shelves to the kitchen and the bath delivered. The road was still not the best, but this time the truck succeeded in coming up to our house. So the next day the carpenters came and began to set it up. Later on the same day a truck came with the granite tables. Unfortunately a couple of the tables were a little too long so they had
much work solving the problem.

Here some pictures from the process

We have also got the freezer and the refrigerator, so now we are able to have cold water and ice cubes. :D

In this weekend hubby has to find out to collect and place the wardrobes, to put up some more lamps, to place and connect the electric stove and the dishwasher etc., etc.
Really a lot to do, but our son has promised to help.

The builder says that the house will be finished before Easter. We hope it will be possible, so that we can use the Easter to move in - although we don’t have any furniture yet – that’s the next big challenge.

Progress! And the house is looking so good... looking forward to the finish (and the furniture). Thanks for sharing the process.

It's really coming along, Linne!
It's like looking in your soup and finding a whole different alphabet.

I would like to fulfil your wish and found the best, I have:

I can tell you that they weren’t only some handsome guys, they were also very polite, they had humour, and they did a really good job. So I enjoyed having them on visit. They worked nearly 12 hours in the house.

The last 2 hours they were there, another guy came, and he has - after my opinion - nearly the same qualifications as the two carpenters. So perhaps you would like to see a close up picture of him instead :?: :D

Sorry I haven't answered, Minde but I have been busy with the project, and I'm not sure what you mean.
I guess it has something to do with a pic of the nice men :D, but what means "cropping work"?

The situation just now is that tomorrow the house should be cleaned, so that we should be able to live in the house and not only work there. As you can see of the pic it's very dirty inside, so we are really looking forward to some cleaning. We will bring a lot stuff up there to Easter and use the days to move in. We have only few furniture just now and there still miss many things to be done, but we can begin to use the kitchen and the bath, so it's really a progress.

Have a nice Easter.

We're moving too. It's exciting! Stressful, too. I hope that everything goes very smoothly for you.
By cropping, I meant, yes, could you zoom in on the handsome guys a bit? Would they pose for a Linne's Housebuilders Calendar for 2011?
(You might get some of your costs back :)
