Connie your little granddaughter is in my prayers too. You all are! Especially little Maggie, too. I have a friend with twins; one has spina bifida and will spend his life in a wheelchair; his twin sister is perfectly healthy and fine. It's not easy being either one of them.
May God bless and keep you and your family, and especially that precious girl during these difficult times.
I'm so glad you've had the joy of her in your lives.
All our love is with you.
Shannon will be operated on this week at John Hopkins. She is not getting any nutrients from her feeding tube because she continues to throw just about everything up.
This is a complicated operation that will render her unable to throw up again, which really scares me.
I'm very confused about this surgery, but the team of doctors says she has to have it. If she doesn't, she will just waste away.
Thanks for all of your prayers. I know they do help.
What a sweet little girl. Shannon and her family will be in my prayers. We should all take a moment every day to reflect on how fortunate we are in so many ways and say a prayer and contribute in any way we can for those less so.
