STT for One Night

Post by CaribbeanSoul »

Hi! I know this has probably been posted a million times, but my SO and myself will be on STJ the week of July 24th-31st and will have one night on STT as our flight leaves at 7:45 on Sunday. Any good recommendations for a night? It would be nice to be close to CA for restaurant/shopping. Walking distance would be fine and we are fit so not afraid of walking up the hill. Under $150 would be preferable. Also any good restaurant recommendations would be welcome for our last night in the islands. I am good with STJ info as I have been traveling since the early 90's. Thanks in advance!

We like the Crystal Palace. Ronnie is a wonderful host. And for dinner we like Cuzzins.

Restaurants - anything in Frenchtown...Hook, Line & Sinker, Bella Blu, Pie Whole, Oceana, ...

One night stay - Crystal Palace, Green Iguana, Island Beachcomber (not really walking distance to downtown but right on the beach), Winward Passage (a bit more expensive, but great location), Villa Olga, Mafolie (not walking distance but awesome view and restaurant).

We stayed at the Mafolie for 2 nights last May and loved it. We would definitely stay there again. The restaurant was great and the views magnificent!!

We stayed one night at Mafolie in November. Rooms were nice and the restaurant was great! Bartender was also very nice.

Thanks for the great feedback! Hotel Mafolie looks ideal for a night. A trip to Magen's Bay during the day and cocktails and dinner with an amazing view right at the hotel looks perfect. Exactly what I was looking for!
