Lime and coconut drink/ Fly Girl catamaran
Lime and coconut drink/ Fly Girl catamaran
1) A lime and coconut sounds good to me....googled for recipes and came up with nothing. Any help? My plan is to work out the liver until our July trip! I did find a recipe for a painkiller that I will also try.
2) Anyone have any experience with Fly Girl catamaran trip?
Thanks for any help! Kim

Lime & Coconut
If you like Piña Coladas, but Not Getting Caught in The Rain... Then You'll like this More Unique Virgin Island Frozen Selection
(for one drink)
* 1.5 oz Coconut Rum
(light or dark rum can be substituted)
* 2 oz Rose's Lime Juice
* 1 oz Coco Lopez
* 1/2 slice of lime
* Splash of Sprite (optional)
* Slice of Lime Garnish
Put all ingredients in a blender. Add 1 glass of ice. Blend till smooth. You can add a dash of Sprite or simple syrup to sweeten and/or to make blending easier if it is too thick. We get the most compliments on the Lime and Coconuts that we make with Sprite, and the lime in the blender is very important.

We have sailed with Captian Han on Fly Girl many times, and also on his hobies (Sail Safaris)- he's great! Fly Girl a great boat for both sails around STJ as well as day trips over to Jost. Han will customize the trip to whatever you want, and he knows the best snorkel spots and private beaches. Highly recommend.
we tried the lime and coconut drink....here's how it went....
she put the lime in the coconut, she drank them both up, she put the lime in the coconut, she drank them both up, she put the lime in the coconut, she called the doctor, woke him up, and said doctor, is there nothing I can take, I say, doctor, to relieve this belly ache, ....... ..you put the lime in the coconut, you drink them both together, put the lime in the coconut, then you feel better. Put the lime in the coconut, and drink them both up, put the lime in the coconut and call me in the morning...
ok, you get the picture.... here's the recipe adjustments we made:
For 4 drinks in the blender:
5.5 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
3 oz simple syrup
4 oz coco lopez
7.5 oz cruzan light rum
1/8 whole lime cut into pieces (including rind)
3 glasses crushed ice.
Put all in the blender, mix it all together, then you feel better!
its really an awesome drink. We may try it with the dark rum next time, but the drink is a great combo of tart and coconut flavor....not too sweet, just perfect.
Thanks for the idea, we enjoyed it!

Okay be forwarned this is slightly OT.
I was driving today and saw a sign that said "Time to Lime" and I think to myself, "what the heck are they talking about Limen for?" because that is not a term you hear up here - my mind being totally on Limen in STJ. Then it hit me: time to lime the lawn! I had a chuckle anyways.
