St John Villas- Google Maps collaboration?

So - what does everyone think about categorizing by area (in our case - since displaying these in any other way than the map becomes an issue).

The obvious list:

Coral Bay
Cruz Bay
North Shore

Do you think we should get more granular where the highest concentration of villas are (I think yes) - and - how far would you go?

Rest of my list (as a start):

Great Cruz Bay
Chocolate Hole
Devers Bay
Hart Bay
Klein Bay
Fish Bay
Gift Hill (?)

Ideas, suggestions, corrections?

Hey Mr. Sherban!
I'm loving your map and would like to add pushpins to some of the villas. You said the middle button in the left hand corner of the map is a pushpin, but when I place it on the map, it is a blue placemarker. Will it turn into a yellow pushpin when I press done? I don't want to screw up your map!

Colleen- The blue ballon looking marker can be changed into one of many types/colors pushpin, don't worry about that..no worries. Once you are in edit mode you can doubleclick any pushpin/marker to modify it's content and/or format...

Anthony- My two cents-.....

It is a trade off deceision for sure, but I would probably split the difference between lots of segregation/resolution and one big blob.

My reasoning is that some people don't know the difference between Giftt Hill and Chocolate Hole....and some do. If you want to try to serve all folks yo gotta keep is simple KISS....

I would probably do something like---
North
East
South
West

I agree - I think the different bays, hills may be too much... but - I also think that visually, if we cut it up in 4, name it, and have a little key, people will figure it out pretty quick...

I made a LOT of progress today, but more on the overall workings of the "new" site (star ratings, comments... FACEBOOK connect - yes - you will be able to sign in and comment, upload photos, etc. using your FB account) - we are working on the dining maps first - maybe over the weekend or early next week I will have a beta version for everyone to see. Thanks Sherban - you have been inspirational/motivational on this!
