Anyone familiar with Sossenskuss on StJ?
I am staying at Sossenskuss the end of March? Is anyone familar with it? Just wondering if they had beach chairs (and how hard the climb is to get up there...???)

Sonnenskuss
Hi - I think you mean Sonnenskuss (Kissed by the Sun).
If so, my wife and I stayed there 5 years ago and really liked it. It is, however, more of an apartment than a villa. It was our first stay on St. John and we now stay in villa's, but it was a good "starter" as we were exploring the island more than staying home. It is a very comfortable studio apartment with a great view of St. Thomas and the owners live upstairs. Gary and his mother Charlette are VERY nice and informative. The drive up starts behind Mongoose Junction and is VERY steep. Not sure you'd want to walk it very often. We had a jeep and it was a tough drive even. A couple switchbacks and steep.
