Points of View Villa - way way way on the East End

Post by shelli0001 »

anybody been to Points of View? can't find any reviews on this one, its on the very east end. how come i seem drawn to the ones with no reviews? :?

i like that i could walk to the beach very early while everybody else is still sleeping. like that i can see the pool from the living/kitchen area. i think i like being way out there. i feel like the kids could safely roam around outside.

with the 30% discount for booking 8 nites, i can almost afford this one.

aside from the long drive, am i missing anything i should be considering? any thoughts or suggestions.

we are 2 adults, 2 kids, coming in july, we need a/c in bdrms, washer/dryer, wifi, and pool. don't need need a great view, don't need to be near cruz bay.

We stayed way out there last Feb. at East End Seascape for 5 nights.

You are 45 - 55 minutes away from Cruz Bay. You mention you want to be close to Cruz Bay- this is as far as you can get. The road is hit or miss till you get to Sloop Jones then its the roller coaster to Coral Bay. 20 min to Shipwreck and 30 min to North Shore Beaches. The beach you are referring to is rocky. It is a beautiful end of the world location. We spent a few days at the villa not venturing to beaches and very much enjoyed the seclusion but this was our 17+ trip. We had an 11 yr old with us. Yes the area is safe. The pool looks nice like we had at East End Seascape.

It gets windy at night and the goats roam and it can be a little noisy.

If your adventurous go for it - bring cards and board games!

thanks ali! i'm glad to hear somebody else actually stayed out there and lived to tell about it, lol! i searched up that East End Seascape you said you stayed at, wow is that beautiful.

i meant to say that we Did Not need to be near cruz bay, we stayed in a westin villa for our first trip to STJ last year, it was great but we want to try something new.

we went out to vie's beach last time and loved the ride out. i think POV is on hansen bay, i'm gonna ask the owner to be sure. the kids like rocky beaches better than sandy, more creatures. and we LOVE goats! i think this is gonna be just right. my mind is 98% made up, i think. LOL!
