Sogo's
I'm a big fan of Sogos. It is very much no frills but the food is very good and reasonably priced. Opportunities to try authentic food like curried goat, good veggie plate. Our kids insist we go every year.
A very nice family runs it and someone told me he used to be a chef or some sort of cook at Caneel. Anyways, we have always left satisfied.

We love Sogos and go at least twice on each trip. Hubby loves the curried goat, and gets it every time we eat there. I discovered a shrimp dish with tomatoes and peppers last year that is great (I think its called Shrimp Creole). I also like their chicken dishes. You get rice and several side dishes, so there is plenty to eat. Its authentic Caribbean food and the nice lady there is from Dominica. We had an interesting chat with her about growing up there, since we had visited Dominica. The restaurant is not upscale at all, but its ok to sit on the porch. We often get carry-out and eat at the villa. I highly recommend it.
We recommend it and often try to get there twice too. Love the veggie side dishes. Drinks are good sized for the price
They're always very nice to us too. Hope you make it there!
