Please say a weather prayer!!!
Please say a weather prayer!!!
Well, we are due to depart Thursday at 10am out of Philly and now am wondering if it will happen given the impending "blizzard". They are even going as far as saying it'll be a Snowicane (that's a new one). I'm praying it doesn't get bad until after we leave but as time goes by I'm starting to get more and more nervous. Please say a prayer that we get out of PHilly!!!

Why don't you see if can get out earlier, even tonight? The airlines might be very accomodating, rather than have to deal with trying to get you out on Thurs. Then stay over night in STT.
Thats if you can swing the extra day off & the extra $ for hotel in STT.
Be alot better than losing a day on STJ..
GOOD LUCK !!
We've been in your shoes so know how you feel.....

Trust me! Our weather prayers are with you!!!
In fact, I almost wrote an identical post here yesterday but it turns out that we are getting rain and not snow! Although parts of MA are getting snow it looks like it'll be rain on the coast and at Logan Airport. We fly out tomorrow morning. It is raining here now and the winds are mighty strong.
Sending positive energy your way for a timely escape and safe travels.
Will you be at the Beach Bar Sunday night? We will. Maybe we'll catch up with each other then.
PA Girl, same positive energy coming your way as well!!

Good luck to all those that have to deal with traveling in this weather.
I agree, I'd contact the airlines now and try to get out faster.
If anyone will be traveling down the blue route (476) to get to the airport, I just wanted you to know that they closed it during the last storm, so take 76 instead.
Again, good luck!

PAGIrl, fingers crossed!! Are you supposed to leave Fri or Sat?
Well, we just rebooked out of BWI in hopes that it won't be as windy there. I'm more concerned about wind than snow, kwim?
Positive thoughts!!
And yes, we will most likely be at the BB on Sunday, God wiling! Hope to see you (darkanddiet and pagirl)both there!
