I was just reading the forum this morning and wishing that October would get here! Every morning I see that awesome spice cam and get more angry at this snow in my front yard! Ugh, thanks for keeping me upbeat with you guys posts!

Hang in there ! Walked out on our driveway and almost took a header this morning, was a regular ice rink !! Had to walk in the snow drifts to get to car. Enough !! Where is Global Warming when you want it? Up in Vancouver where they don't want it.

I also just bought the book "Don't Stop The Carnival" with the gift card my boss gave me for Christmas. I told him what the book was about and that if I enjoy reading it so much while on island that I don't come back, it will be his fault. I did promise to send poscards though

Yep...the snow is beautiful (and I truly do love living in West Michigan) until you have to shovel it, trudge through it in dress shoes to get into work, scrap it off your windows and the end of the day and slip-slide all the way home on the highway while the people who think they can put it in 4-wheel drive fly by you on the highway just cuz they think they can go fast....see ya in the ditch!

Aw thanks guys! I am with you Susan...I don't want summer to go fast either but who am I kidding...I want to get back to St John! I just ordered some more stuff from St.J Spice the other day just to get me through....
My husband is from Indiana and tells me this is nothing...I am sure it's not judgeing the beautiful snow picture there....Im just not a winter girl...NEED SAND AND RUM TO SURVIVE.....OTHERWISE JACKIE IS "OUT OF ORDER"....
