Salt Pond Bay Development

Post by nursepiggy »

Does anyone know if the construction site is active on the development? We are thinking about renting a villa (Ebb Tide) on Chocolate Hole. Wondering if we will be bothered by construction noise. Going the last of June.

Hon I think ya mean Pond Bay. Someone will chime in on this but alot of peeps are going to crap there pants if they are building on Salt Pond. We've stayed at two villas right above Pond Bay while the construction was going on didn't bother us any.

Sorry, Pond Bay is it? I was checking out our potential villa site on Google Earth and saw a whole area that has been scraped off. Granted, that was in 2006, but had read that the construction might begin again soon. Just wondering if anyone had any info on that.

I might be mistaken but, I believe that construction has come to a screeching halt at Pond Bay. (Am I right?)

I think things have started up again. Not to sure about what is going on right now though. My husband is one of the subs on the job, electrician, and he hasn't been called back in yet. I do know that they were installing fixtures when the job was shut down, so I believe that the interiors are nearly completed. Most of the "heavy" work is completed, so I don't think the noise level will be to high. Start times are usually 7 or 8 am and they usually quit at 3:30 or 4pm.
