If so, sorry for your scare and hope all is well with you now.
Dozen sickened on flight from USVI to NC
January 17, 2010 16:17 EST
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- Emergency and fire crews responded to a major North Carolina airport after about a dozen passengers and crew members complained of sickness.
WCNC-TV reported that seven US Airways crew members were taken from Charlotte-Douglas International Airport Saturday night after they complained of headaches and nausea.
The crew members had been onboard a plane that had just arrived from St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Five passengers from that flight were treated on the scene.
Shortly after the plane took off from St. Thomas, crew members noticed a slight odor on board and alerted authorities in Charlotte.
Investigators are working to determine what caused the odor, and the plane has been taken out of service.

This wouldnt be the first time and its really scary, so many stories about toxic airline air... here is just one example...

I have never heard of this.
"There are chemicals that are in hydraulic fluid or jet fuel that can get brought into the air of the aircraft,” Harrison, said. "This problem occurs when the mechanical system of the aircraft malfunctions and these products, when they're burned, get into the air supply system and are circulated around the cabin air."
The contaminated air, Harrison said, is similar to what you would find in dangerous pesticides. And they can lead to temporary symptoms that may be confused with jet lag, or more chronic neurological problems like headaches, dizziness and loss of memory and concentration.
Harrison said “the name for it is aero toxic syndrome.”
Is there an update?

Not sure why there was illness on Flight 1041, but a link to seemingly credible info on aerotoxic syndrome is

Reason 47 why I won't fly US Air. I've had some really crappy planes with them. This is a new one though.lprof wrote:Posted: Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010

Unfortunately, US Air is not the only carrier having this problem.

I think I saw a pilot being transported to the ambulance in a video when this first happened.djmom wrote:what if the pilots had gotten sick?
