It's official newbies comming to St. John!!!

We got our villa booked as well as or flight. I am so excited I can't wait. We were supose to come there last Aug, but because of a threat of a hurricane the villa owner advised against it. He saved our money for a later date so we are comming May 13-20.

He called us Sunday when we were supose to leave out early Mon. I went in to a panic mode trying to scramble to find another place for a vacation, and working with the airlines trying to rearange our tickets, But we did end up having a nice time in Palm Springs and to boot when we got home we had free travel vouchers in the mail from American, So it all worked out well.

That's great! I'm sure you'll have an awesome time. Between now and then you can research, plan and imagine. That's what I do to stave off the impatience. 3 months, 5 days until the warmth and color envelope us. Ahhhhh... that's so satisfying. Especially since I shovelled 8" of snow yesterday and am watching another few inches fall right now.

Good for you. We had very nice weather during a May trip. I am sure you will have a fantastic time.

do you have anything special planned? hikes? boat day? etc.

Good for you !! We're newbies too. Our 1st trip is this April 17-24th and can hardly wait!

Have had so much fun doing the researching,gathering the tips from here & other forum. Talking to all the Terrific people on both forums, Boy are they friendly & helpful! You can't go wrong going to them for help.

Time will fly by,part of the trip is the planning & anticipation.

Hope to see you here more now.

Glad to see that you are getting your trip after all. My boyfriend and I are going for our first time to St. John too. We are going to be there May 16th-23rd. Maybe we could meet up and have a drink. Hope you all have a great time. We are staying close to Cruz Bay.
