These guys will be at the Beach Bar on Friday, January 29 and at Larry's Landing on Saturday, January 30. They will sound even better while drinking a Presidente. Stop by if you are on STJ...the Iowans will be there.
That's quite strange. I'd heard of these guys. They played in the Boston area last weekend (at Johnny D's, where this video was shot, which is a great little place to hear music). They sound real good. We'll have to keep an eye out if they come this way again.
Lex---Not sure, but I think the folks at Larry's Landing might be responsible for getting a number of Boston-area bands to come down to STJ and play. On our last trip we really enjoyed a funk/reggae band called Spiritual Rez---also from Boston---and they told us the people at Larry's had helped line up their shows on STJ.
iowaguy, is there a schedule anywhere to check out when bands like this are going to be on St John? We'll be there in February and would love to go see them. Thanks
Darkanddiddiewithlime---I just check the Beach Bar website, the Island Blues website, and the Facebook pages for Larry's Landing, the G-Spot at Larry's Landing and the Beach Bar. The Facebook pages are usually a little more up-to-date.
