Post by lpowmacback »

We will be celebrating our 29th anniversary & our son's 22nd birthday this week on island- where can I pick up a little birthday cake?
Peace,

Baked In The Sun in the Marketplace. You might be able to get one at StarFish's bakery too??

Just checked out Baked in the Sun's website - $60 for a 6" cake... are they CRAZY?! No thanks- we'll find a cake - or something else yummy & put candles in it:-)
Peace,

I get one each year for my daugter at the Starfish Market... let them know a day or two ahead of time and they will custom make you a cake for about $25.

Deli Grotto does baking and Dan Sheffy is the owner, he may do a cake. Call him up, they are in Mongoose.

100% Baked In The Sun. Their 6" cakes are $30 (I've ordered one for Les birthday the day I get home) - white cake with whipped cream and fresh mango filling with buttercream frosting sooooooo good

I have a vote for Baked in the Sun as well. $60??? that doesn't sound right, even though I clearly see it on their website. Maybe you should give them a call? 340-693-8786 I DON'T like cake, but I will eat a Baked in the Sun cake any day! Yum! They usually have a couple of cakes made up in their case if you want to go that route. Pick up some bagels while you are there, they are really good!
