Villa help needed...Pleaseee

Post by philbetm »

:)
We are going for 7 days ( 05/01 thru
05/08).
Taking one of Tommy's sisters and hubby
with us. Please help...due to work situations
with Tom and his sister, our budget is kinda
tight. :( I need a villa with at least
2brm. / 2baths and air in the bedrooms at
least. Pool would be nice but not demanded.
I really would like for it to be a nice
place...but budget only allowing around
$2500. Does anyone have any ideas
they would share?

Also, I know a lot of villa owners read
the forum and if any of you have anything
that could help me out...I sure would
appreciate hearing from you.

Please e-mail me at philbetm@bellsouth.net

Is it possible there are going to be any
"specials" that time of year...that you wouldn't
have to wait just 30 days out to book? I would
have a heart attack trying to wait that long
to book  Help with ideas will be
greatly appreciated!!!

Daffodil is nice. We've stayed there a couple of times.

You might look at Oleander or Dolphin Run thru Caribbeanvillas.com.
We loved Oleander--2AC King bedrooms --up and down--and a delightful pool. Magnificent views over Rendevous Bay. Frequently on special.

Lots of folks like Dolphin Run--convenient to town and large pool. Dont recall whether it has A/C but it does have green breezes.

Do you like Coral Bay? We just got back from Rhumb Runners and loved it. 2 bedroom, 2 bath (one off each bedroom) and a half bath downstairs, and a pool. Not luxury but certainly fine especially for the price. And the views!! Amazing. High up on a hill but the road is all paved. Great breezes plus AC and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. $2400 for 4 people off season.

I think your budget is fine for off season. I took a quick peek at windspree.com (because I'm partial to Coral Bay), and it looks like there are a few in your range that look nice: Sea Glass, Caribn Odyssey, Seabiscuit...

I'm sure you'll find something nice!

Thanks...I'll check these out!
Maybe could go as much as $2600 after
talking to sis-inlaw. I know we
will find something.

I got a hit on a 2 bedroom condo
at Grande Bay...but don't know
much about the place other than
what you see coming over on the ferry.

Pink Horses is a great idea and looks beautiful. We were cautioned away from it by someone at a management firm because the bedrooms are separated by the pool and we were traveling with kids. But for 2 couples I think that would be perfect.

Thanks for all the replies! We are
now booked with a villa. It looks like
a beautiful place...Villa Tamarindo.

Now ... on to a rental car search

Lordy, I hope we don't end up having
to book with Budget again this year.

I called both Dependable on STT and Bougainvillea on STJ today to find out about a car for late March, and both had availability, and competitive prices. If you're having a tough time finding anything for your dates in May you could give them a call. I've used both, and can recommend both of them.
