You know...

Ha. I was thinking the same thing. I also would've been looking for a person named Pia on Island :P My screen name is very lame just Mrs B.

Teresa Rae, 5 cats is just fine not crazy at all (I have 5 and 2 fosters)! It is just me and MrB so they have plenty of room. They are entertaining too

LLBL,
Don't you have some nice beaches on the Muddy Mississippi?
I spent about 3 years living in St. Louis. My sister lives there now.

By the way, I love your forum name.

Co-workers have always called me Jamestown. My given name is Jamie. Perhaps they were thinking of the early Virginia settlement!

No cats for us....we're totally DOG people. My dogs would have a cat for lunch.

Ahhh, msrb & California Girl - I wish my name was as charming as a camp - or as earthy as a Native American "something" - or something that reflected ME NOW - not from 10-12 years ago

Our sailboat, when we get one, will be named Savvy. We just think Johnny Depp is hysterical in Pirates. We have started saying "savvy?" to our students without really thinking about it. LUckily, most of them have seen the movies, so they don't need much explanation.
I'm also a feng shui consultant, so my avatar is a feng shui symbol.
This has been a really fun thread to read!

Hi Jorge - that's a good question!
Feng shui is the ancient Chinese art of placement. It is the study of energy (ch'i) in our spaces and how changing the energy patterns can support us in our everyday lives.
There must be a special energy on and around the island of St. John. I think that's why we forum members are so in love with the place.
Does that make sense?

Picked the emerald as I like emeralds for my avatar as I didn't know how to make my own at the time.

Mia...Sorry for your loss, my husbands best friend lost his only child last year and it's unimaginable losing a child. Your memories made me cry.
Hoping for a USVI ticker in 2013!
