Any links to underwater photos

Post by nancyr84 »

Hi everyone Merry Christmas. My hubbie told me he wants to get me the new Canon D10 underwater camera for Christmas. My Canon with underwater housing died in May on the second day of our vacation. Can anyone share any underwater photos they have taken with this camera.

Hi Nancy. Here is a link to my FlickR sets from our trip in June '09. I used the D10 for all the underwater shots and some of the 'dry' ones as well.

Here is a blog post I did featuring a spotted eagle Ray using my D10. It really is a nice camera and easy to use.

To Mrscaptainjay,
I was looking at your eagleray pictures and noticed that "blue haze" that comes with underwater shots. I usually run my underwater pictures thru an editor which takes the blue out. I use a program called ACDsee, but there are many that do the same thing. Just select autoadjust. I downloaded a couple of the eagle ray pictures and edited them. Below are before and after.

This even works for disposable cameras if you have the photos developed with digital images (CD).
