Asolare and other restaurants?

Post by PA Girl »

We are thinking about making reservations for our upcoming trip and someone in the group mentioned they wanted to eat at Asolare.

Is there any updates on the restaurant or the management group in general.

While I think the reported treatment of the employees was awful, I am hoping that things are turning around and spending money at one of the restaurants might trickle down to the ones owed money.

We are also thinking about Waterfront Bistro. The on-line dinner menu doesn't thrill me but I will go with the group. Has anyone eaten there recently?

Both were open Thanksgiving week and the meals were great! You couldn't tell if there were any employee issues and we paid cash because we wanted to. Paradisos had half-price appetizers if you ate at the bar. It appeared seamless from all accounts. Balcony was open but we didn't have time to go there. Bananna Deck, High Tide, Lime Inn and Cactus On The Blue were our favorites.

Catus on the Blue is on our list. Once again, there are more restaurants we want to eat at then nights on the island.

Want to try the new (to us) ones yet can't miss our old favorites.

We are planning three or four group nights and the rest just with the three of us.
