You're really doing a good job of convincing me to move down there! I think I'll sign up for a knot-tying class at the local college!

No worries. I'm pretty well stocked with food and booze and I doubt the 20 or so folks invited for Happy Hours on Sunday will make it

It's starting tomorrow night. At first we were getting a couple of inches and it would be gone by Sunday morning; then it went to 8-12 inches. Now they're saying "Blizzard" and may stay around for the afternoon. We'll see.

Boston.com had 20 inches for the Cape tomorrow! We're supposed to be making a trip up to Chatham Pottery (about 2 hrs drive from here) tomorrow to grab my mom's Christmas present. Might have to postpone!

Soxfan, if you make it up to the Cape tomorrow we found the BEST fried seafood last weekend right at the Chatham Fish Pier across from Chatham Bars Inn. The Clam Chowder and Bay Scallop Plate were the best ever. If you make it up there you should check it out. It is take out only so take it up to Chatham Light and watch the storm roll in with all the newstations :) Oh, and then stop at Marions and get a pie!

Thanks for the tips! When we were down the Cape in July, we went to the Chatham Fish Pier...If you get there around 3:00 PM, you can watch the fishing boats come in to unload their catch - and of course the seals! My son loved it...I think we spent about an hour there one day just watching the seals play in the harbor and the fish/lobster being unloaded from the boats.

Never been to Marion's...Is it on 28?

My wife is worried about the weather...I said, "just throw the kids bathing suits in the bag, and if we need to crash at some motel in Yarmouth for the night due the blizzard, then so be it...Kids can swim in the pool, we can relax and watch the snow.

Be safe up there in Boston!

edit: I dont eat seafood! I wish I did, but it has just never done it for me...I know, I am crazy! Cant get past the smell. Probably the only native New Englander who doesn't care for it, right? But my wife likes it from time to time, so maybe we'll stop in anyway.
