Home again, home again.
Home again, home again.
Hi Forum Folks! I am back at work this morning, having just said "goodbye" to Scubagirl late last night in the Charlotte airport and Gromit a few hours earlier. I think I am still swaying slightly from my sea legs and I swear I can still hear the waves lapping against the side of the boat, but the reality is that it's 28 degrees outside and I'm at my stinkin' desk!
I know many of you who have considered sailing trips are eager to hear about this trip and the rest of you are just interested in the gory details of 6 virtual strangers on a sailboat in the Virgin Islands for 8 days.
Patience. Details soon come.
I will tell you it was an AMAZING week. Wonderful. Full of beautiful locations, great friends, good food, and some damn funny events.
Who figured out that Cheetos are a cure for motion sickness? Who flipped backwards out of the dinghy? Who had one too many and busted her iPhone at the Soggy Dollar? Who makes a kick a$$ taco salad? Who learned to shower with no more than a handi-wipe?
Find the answers to these questions and more when the trip report finally swims its way to the surface.....

It's like that Mac McAnally song I heard on Radio Margaritaville this morning during that very cold drive to the Milwaukee airport..."It's a fine line between patience and gone."VickiH wrote:Patience. Details soon come.

Aren't there some OSHA rules that prohibit working the day after returning from STJ?VickiH wrote:...it's 28 degrees outside and I'm at my stinkin' desk!
