However, you CAN rent on St. Thomas and take your car to St. John (if this works for you). I'm renting on St. Thomas from Dependable and here is the info they quoted me:

"We allow our vehicles to be taken to St.John but you do so at your own risk.We have no maintenance service there. You are responsible for getting thevehicle back on the barge to St.Thomas at your expense."
