Help me pack- ONE thing you can't leave home without
Not the regular stuff, sunscreen, toothbrushes, etc aside.
What is the one thing that you have to bring on your island vacation?

Nothingtolose-
We need to sit together on the plane because I have that problem sometimes too. Both of my parents were pilots and I have never had a problem flying until spring break '06. My kids and I were flying back from Miami from a cruise with my friend and her 2 kids. Our flights were booked wrong and we were leaving miami 8 hours after them. We tried to get on their flight and were on standby. I guess this craziness of not knowing until the last minute we were going to be on that flight did it , I still dont know. We were waiting on the tarmak and the door was already shut. they still made us wait out there. Finally they made us hurry and get on in the very back of the plane. I didn't get to call my husband and tell him we were leaving early . I had been having some anxiety, but didn't take a pill because I thought I was going to have to drive home instead of my friend driving us because we werent going to be able to get on the same flight. Cant take xanex and drive! Her husband was going to drive to Memphis to get them and then I was to drive us home at 10 that evening.
Before we even took off, I freaked out. IT WAS BAD!!!! I had no saliva in my mouth and was shaking all over. I tried really hard to hold it together for my kids but it wasnt working. I needed to go to the bathroom but couldnt get up. I tried to drink water, listen to ipod, anything to get my mind off of what was going on. I couldnt get my breath either. I tapped on the mans shoulder in front of me and told him to get my friend. She came back there and tried to calm me down. I finally tried to walk to the front and switch seats with someone. I ended up laying down in the floor crying. Eventually made it up there. It was terrible!!! It was definitely an anxiety attack. I havent had one flying since then. I have that xanex just in case and plenty of vodka. So far so good!

Oh, and a geeky answer: sharpening stone for the villa knives.
