Can we make the 4:00 ferry?

Hi! We are due to arrive at 3:06. Do you think we can make the 4:00 ferry (either RH or CA is fine)? I am hoping to use Rachel's services and scoot quickly to CA for the 4pm.

Will this work or am I too optimistic?

Are you checking any luggage in or are you going to bring it all on the plane with you?

If you check it in, I would say there is just no way to make it.

By the way, I think only Red Hook is running. That may have changed.

It was Red Hook only as of last month. You won't make it if you check your bags.

We arrived at 7:20pm and just missed the 8pm ferry by 2 minutes. Our luggage came out really fast, Rachel was waiting and there was no traffic.

My guess is other flights will also be in so the luggage may not be as fast and traffic not as light.

The sooner you get on Island Time the better off you will be. Get your bags, buy some booze at the duty free shop at the airport, get in Rachel's cab and decompress. You will be on the five.
